Marisol Amaya-Aluigi

Marisol AmayaAluigi has been the executive director of La Alianza Hispana since 2013. Under her leadership La Alianza Hispana has become a highly influential nonprofit organization serving as a voice and advocate of Massachusetts’ Latino community. She improved the
processes and internal controls of the organization and guided the agency to the road of financial recovery after the most severe economic crisis in generations. She developed new partnerships and relationships with various institutions and organizations, including The Boston Foundation, The Cambridge Alliance, Northeastern University, ABCD Senior Programs, The Harvard School of Public Health, and the Boston University School of Public Health.
Marisol was born and raised in Colombia. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Pontificia University. Marisol has certifications in Healthcare in Developing Countries, Management Methods for International Health and Suicide Prevention among older adults from Boston University. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
